These are the terms for using the Scritch website, the operator console, and the recovery agent embedded in your application. By creating an account or embedding the agent, you agree to them.
Who we are
Scritch is operated by Senne Bels, trading as Okapi Works, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in Belgium under company number BE1018236318. Contact us at privacy@scritch.xyz.
The service
Scritch reads what your application already knows about why a task failed, asks the one question only your user can answer, proposes a fix, and acts only once your user approves it. The write itself is performed by your own code through tools you register, never by us directly. Details of how it processes data are in the Privacy page.
Your account and workspace
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for keeping your API keys and console credentials confidential, and for activity carried out under your workspace. Tell us as soon as you suspect a key has leaked so we can revoke it.
Acceptable use
You may not use Scritch to process data you are not entitled to process, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or to register tools that let the agent act outside the approvals your own users give. We may suspend a workspace that we reasonably believe is doing any of this, and will tell you why.
Fees and billing
New workspaces get a number of free recoveries and a 14-day trial once a card is added, both shown in the console. After the trial, you are billed a flat rate per recovery the agent completed successfully, up to the monthly spend cap you set yourself. We never bill past it. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Fees are exclusive of any VAT that applies to your billing address, which is added where required.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise a specific uptime and are not liable for outages caused by our infrastructure providers, your own application, or the model provider the agent runs on. If a run cannot be completed it escalates to your own support flow with what was found, rather than failing silently.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Scritch is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data, except where liability cannot be limited by law (such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence).
Termination
You can stop using Scritch and delete your workspace at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate a workspace for breach of these terms or non-payment, with notice where practical. Ending your workspace stops billing from the next cycle and does not entitle you to a refund for the current one, unless required by law.
Changes
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district where Okapi Works is registered.
